Working alongside government bodies, the CPD Regulatory Office has been tasked with ensuring that continued professional development training is regulated through authorised and approved CPD and Accreditation companies.

Our approved CPD & Accreditation Providers meet government-approved standards when assessing training providers and courses.

Our team research the many CPD and Accreditation service providers in the UK and list them on our directory of providers.

NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANISATION

CPD Regulatory Service is a not for profit organisation. We work towards improving the standards across the CPD & Accreditation Services industry, ensuring employees and learners across the UK can receive quality training.

Why not for profit? A not for profit organisation can be less biased when reviewing and assessing independent service providers. This ensures a fair process when making decisions on which CPD & Accreditation providers we approve.

SETTING CPD & ACCREDITATION STANDARDS

Not all CPD & Accreditation Service providers are built the same. We use a ten-point checklist to oversee and assess the processes that CPD & Accreditation Services use at the time of application.

Using undercover agents we regularly check the procedures and processes of these CPD & Accreditation Service Providers to ensure they maintain high standards when approving academies, employers and training courses.

CONSULTATION

Consultation is key to the long term goals of training and education. It is imperative that training and skills are kept current and up to date. Employers spend millions of pounds every year to invest in their staff to ensure that their own business standards are met.

Choosing the right training for their staff is based on several factors, with one of those being CPD accredited or approved courses. This often means that the course has been through an independent service provider to ensure it meets a set standard.

As these standards vary across different CPD Accreditation Service Providers, the CPD Regulatory office was launched to regulate the industry.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

If you are a CPD or Accreditation Service Provider then you will be able to use our short application form to be reviewed by the CPD Regulatory Office.

All our checks are done via a team of experienced consultants that will undertake various checks of your business, including test applications of your service to review your processes.

If you are approved by the CPD Regulatory Office and meet the standards set by governing bodies within your industry then you will be added to our directory.

In order to avoid misuse of our services, we do not provide feedback on why we may not approve certain CPD & Accreditation Service Providers.
